The 3M 1K PU windscreen adhesive, fast curing, is a highly viscous, permanently elastic adhesive that cures with air humidity. It is suitable for the immediate installation of front, rear and side windows. It passes an FMVSS 212 crash test after just 90 minutes without an airbag and after just four hours with a double airbag. The applied black bead is up to 15 millimetres thick and can be painted over as soon as the skin has formed. The enormously reduced workshop dwell time enables a noticeably faster service and creates significantly more satisfied customers. With a temperature resistance of -40 °C to +90 °C (even up to 120 °C for short periods) and resistance to water and light acids and alkalis, the fast-curing 3M 1K PU windscreen adhesive can withstand the most extreme conditions.
