The 3M 1K PU windscreen adhesive is a highly viscous, permanently elastic adhesive that hardens with air humidity. It is suitable for the immediate installation of front, rear and side windows. It is both FMVSS-212 and FMVSS-216 approved and guarantees a safe workshop dwell time of four hours without airbags or eight hours with double airbags. The applied black bead is up to 15 millimetres thick and can be painted over after the skin has formed. With a temperature resistance of -40 °C to +90 °C (even up to 120 °C for short periods) and resistance to water, light acids and alkalis, the 3M 1K PU windscreen adhesive can withstand the most extreme conditions.
