It also protects against organic and acid gases and vapours below the limit value. The application limit is 10 times the limit value for ozone and hydrogen fluoride gas (30 ppm). The filter fits onto the 6000, 7000 and 7500 mask series from 3M using a bayonet click connection. It has been tested and approved in accordance with EN 143:2000. It is ideal for welding.

Nie wieder Einwegmasken!!!

Der Partikelfilter ist in Verbindung mit der passenden 3M-Halbmaske hinsichtlich der Passform, und der daraus resultierenden Dichtheit, deutlich angenehmer zu tragen und, unabhängig von der Aktivkohle, effektiver in der Schutzwirkung, als die klassischen Einwegmasken. Leider hat 3M ein kleines Verpackungsproblem, im Sinne von löchrig verschweißter Verpackungsfolie. Da Aktivkohle, wie die Bezeichnung es schon vermuten lässt, AKTIV Luft zieht und damit potentiell auch die Umgebungsluft filtert, ist es nicht sinnvoll, die Filter unter Luftzufuhr irgendwo zu lagern. Bei den Gas- und Kombifiltern hat 3M das Problem doch souverän gelöst, warum nicht auch an dieser Stelle!? Verstehe ich nicht...🤷🏻‍♂️ Unabhängig von dieser, diplomatisch formuliert, kleinen Unachtsamkeit oder Sparmaßnahme, sind die Filter wirklich gut.

geringer Atemwiderstand, vermeintliche gute Filterleistung, perfekt zum Schweißen

Die 2138 nutze ich primär zum Schweißen, weil sie perfekt unter meinen 3M-Speedglas-Helm passen, ohne dass ich diesen irgendwie verstellen müsste. Über die tatsächliche Filterwirkung kann ich als Laie keine fundierten Aussagen treffen, allerdings kommt "der Nase nach" zu Urteilen nichts durch. Rein von der theoretischen Überlegung her kann die Filterwirkung eigentlich nicht vergleichbar zu den "dicken" Filtern sein, allerdings passen die eben auch nicht unter den Schweißhelm. Und besser als nichts wird's allemal sein. Atemwiderstand ist angenehm gering.
