Aluminium oxide-coated 3-millimetre polyester film backing with a robust synthetic resin system and PSA backing pad. Available in 7 grit sizes between 0.05 and 60.0 microns. Typical applications are stock removal, deburring, finishing and polishing.

3M Epoxy Film Super 10 is a polyester film reinforced with an epoxy film that fulfils the highest demands in terms of both its electrical and mechanical properties. The insulating tape can withstand a breakdown voltage of up to 8,000 volts and, with a temperature resistance of 155 °C, belongs to insulating material class F. At the same time, mechanical damage is virtually impossible thanks to its flame resistance, high puncture resistance and resistance to oils and solder dripping. The epoxy film is extremely robust and elastic. It is therefore particularly suitable for use as a coil cover, for cable fastening and cable bundling, for cover bandages and for end and crossover insulation in transformers. The highly elastic epoxy tape is also characterised by its easy handling. It can be unrolled very evenly and its heat-curing rubber adhesive prevents subsequent flagging. The easy handling contributes significantly to increased productivity by saving time and material.
