3M 5361 is a 3M Acrylic Foam adhesive tape made of a dark grey acrylic foam with an additional acrylic adhesive on one side. Typical applications are attachments of add-on parts, such as bumper protection strips, trim strips and emblems. 3M 5361 has very good adhesion to a wide range of automotive surfaces, good internal strength, excellent long-term stability and very good conformability to the surfaces to be bonded. In combination with primer, the adhesive tape achieves good plasticiser resistance and guarantees good adhesion to elastomeric add-on parts. The unique viscoelastic properties of 5361 provide excellent stress relief in the bonded seam, resulting in extremely durable bonds.
