3M 5451 and 5453 are PTFE-coated glass fibre adhesive tapes with a resilient silicone adhesive. These adhesive tapes have very good sliding properties, a very good non-stick effect and a high thermal and mechanical load capacity. Adhesive tape for coating plastic film welding equipment and as a sliding coating with high mechanical strength and an adhesive-repellent surface.

It can be used on various smooth materials, such as metals, plastic, glass, etc. The surface cleaner consists of isopropanol. Please check compatibility with the materials used before use. Clean all surfaces carefully before each application and only use clean, lint-free cloths. The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again. The 3M Scotchlok heat-shrink compression connectors can be used in installation technology wherever you want to connect solid conductors using compression technology. After heat-shrinking, the connectors also provide insulation that protects against moisture. They are therefore particularly suitable for applications in non-air-conditioned rooms or outdoors. The seamless connectors are made of tin-plated copper and are surrounded by an insulating layer of polyolefin with an inner coating of hot-melt adhesive. They can withstand a maximum voltage of 600 volts and their maximum operating temperature is 105 °C.
