3M 5480 and 5481 are Teflon film adhesive tapes with highly heat-resistant silicone adhesive, which differ mainly in thickness. They have excellent chemical resistance, a low coefficient of friction and good life-repellent properties. An adhesive tape for coating rolls, rollers, conveyor belts, packaging, sealing and ironing devices.

The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again. Get a fast and even cut for numerous applications with the 3M Silver cutting disc. It cuts quickly through metal tubes, sleeves, flat sheets and other workpieces. The disc contains our precision grain, which has continuously sharp cutting edges, so it cuts through the material rather than scraping or ploughing through it like conventional abrasive grains.
