The 3M respirator 8812 provides professional protection at an economical price. With its traditional fit, it protects against fine dusts and mists - and is light and comfortable to wear. Its pre-moulded mask body makes it comfortable and easy to put on. Thanks to its flexible nose clip, the mask adapts perfectly to the shape of the face. The 3M Cool Flow exhalation valve offers maximum breathing comfort: it allows respiratory heat and moisture to escape easily. The low breathing resistance is made possible by the innovative filter medium, which also ensures reliable protection. The colour-coded straps on the mask are particularly practical: the yellow straps make it easy to identify the protection level. The 3M respirator 8812 has protection level FFP1 NR D. The application limit is 4 times the limit value for particles. There are numerous areas of application: construction, shipbuilding and repair, pharmaceuticals, rubber/plastics, mechanical engineering, iron and steel foundries, pesticides, ceramics, horticulture, laboratory, agricultural industry, base metal production, fine chemicals. The mask is compatible with 3M safety spectacles. Approval according to standard EN 149:2001+A1:2009.

Die Maske hat echt eine gute Filterwirkung

Die Maske hat echt eine gute Filterwirkung auch einen guten Tragekomfort. Ein Stern minus, weil sie für Brillenträger an der Nasenwurzel nicht ausreichend abdichtet. Beim Schweißen ist das ärgerlich.

The 3M Fit Test FT30 is a control accessory for 3M half masks that can be used to carry out a taste test to check the fit of particle-filtering half masks and half masks with particle or combination filters. The test kit contains a bonnet with a cuff, which the test person wears without respiratory protection in the first round. The sweet-tasting sensitivity test solution is then sprayed into the bonnet using a nebuliser. The amount required for the test person to taste the solution when inhaling is the indicator for the test amount for the second run. Here, the test person wears the respiratory protection to be tested under the bonnet. After a few movement and breathing exercises that simulate realistic use of the mask, the fit test solution is sprayed into the bonnet. If the test person tastes nothing, the mask fits tightly and provides reliable protection. However, if the taste test is positive and this is also the case during a control run, the mask is unsuitable for the shape of the test person's face.
