The 3M 9928 respirator is part of the 3M special mask programme. It was developed for special work areas. The mask has an integrated activated carbon layer and thus ensures additional protection and reduced odour nuisance. Its advantages range from the padded nose clip with optimised face fit to the 3M Advanced Electret filter medium and the extra-wide, adjustable, tear-resistant and textile straps. The 3M Cool Flow exhalation valve increases wearing comfort, especially in hot and humid environments, as it allows respiratory heat and moisture to escape easily. The extra wide, skin-friendly face seal ensures safety and comfort for individual customisation. Thanks to its ergonomic design, the 3M 9928 respirator is comfortable to wear under a welding helmet and welding shield. It is compatible with 3M safety goggles and has protection level FFP2 R D. The use limit is 10 times the limit value for particles - it is also effective against ozone and metal fumes below the limit value. It is ideal for welding. CE approval: EN 149:2001+A1:2009.
