Diese Scheibe bietet eine höhere Abtragsrate, größere Haltbarkeit und eine längere Standzeit als andere Fiberscheiben – und das alles bei weniger erforderlichem Schleifdruck.   Die 3M Cubitron 3 Fiberscheibe 1187C verfügt über das überarbeitete 3M Präzisionsgeformte Korn, das die legendäre Abtragsleistung und Standzeit der 3M Cubitron Hochleistungsschleifmittel auf ein völlig neues Niveau hebt. Diese Produktvorteile ermöglichen eine höhere Produktivität und niedrigere Gesamtkosten im Vergleich zu anderen Fiber- und Schruppscheiben beim Schleifen einer Vielzahl von Metallen, einschließlich Edelstahl und anderen temperaturempfindlichen Legierungen. Diese Fiberscheibe mit langer Standzeit trägt im Vergleich zur 3M Cubitron II Fiberscheibe 987C, 36+ bis zu 56 % mehr Material ab und zeichnet sich durch einen hohen Materialabtrag bei vielen verschiedenen Anpressdrucken aus. Sie verfügt außerdem über ein Schleifhilfsmittel, das die Temperaturen zum Bearbeiten temperaturempfindlicher Legierungen minimiert. Sie ist auch dafür ausgelegt, Hand-Arm-Vibrationen zu reduzieren, den Durchsatz zu erhöhen und bei Schleifarbeiten mit mittlerem oder hohem Anpressdruck mehr Werkstücke pro Scheibe zu bearbeiten.

The soft-elastic specification of this disc optimally follows the contours of the workpiece and does not change the surface geometry. It can be used for polishing, fine sanding, effect sanding, deburring, matting and honing. However, it is not suitable for large burrs and high stock removal rates.

This metal-bonded CBN disc grinds all cutting tools for the wood and metal industry. Grinding disc sets for complete machining are available in the CBN grit size range B126 - B76. Important: It should only be used for deep grinding. A perfect balance of grit size, concentration and bond delivers extremely long tool life and profile accuracy.

The  surface cleaner is used to degrease, clean and prepare parts to be joined before bonding. It can be used on various smooth materials, such as metals, plastic, glass, etc. The surface cleaner consists of isopropanol. Please check compatibility with the materials used before use. Clean all surfaces carefully before each application and only use clean, lint-free cloths. The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again.
