Scotch-Brite SC-DH fleece discs with centring enable even better adhesion and more precise positioning of the hook and loop disc on the backing pad. This can reduce vibration by up to 50 %. These discs are ideal for cleaning and finishing work. They are used on angle grinders with the appropriate backing pad.

The 3M Hookit backing pad Green Standard is used to hold non-perforated cloth discs, e.g. 3M Cubitron II cloth disc 947A. Thanks to the very strong hook and loop adhesion of this backing pad, hook and loop abrasive discs can also be used at higher speeds on the angle grinder.

With the new TYROLIT SCM programme, TYROLIT is taking a further step towards economic efficiency. The machining time of the workpiece can be significantly reduced. A saving of 1 to 3 work steps is therefore the main argument. Thanks to the fast and high removal rate, applications such as the reduction of surface roughness, removal of tarnish, smoothing of surfaces, cleaning and removal of weld seams can be realised. The new 3M Cubitron II film disc 775L with Hookit hook and loop adhesion is the superior alternative to conventional hook and loop discs - simply because it does so much more! Equipped with Cubitron II precision ceramic grain and a robust film backing, it sets new standards in eccentric grinding. The particularly tear-resistant film backing offers optimum grain support and edge stability. At the same time, the innovative spiral perforation ensures optimum suction.
