This aggressive tape consists of a polyethylene film laminated to fabric with a blend of synthetic and natural rubber adhesive. It resists curling and tears cleanly from the roll for a variety of demanding applications. 3M General Purpose Adhesive Tape DT-8 is designed to provide a versatile, adaptable and fast bonding solution for demanding applications. Due to its unique construction, 3M General Purpose Tape DT8 combines high instant adhesion with maximum conformability, making it an ideal tape for dealing with contoured surfaces. The 3M DT8 all-purpose tape is available in silver and black. It adheres firmly to a range of surfaces - including plastic, glass and sealed concrete.

It can be used on various smooth materials, such as metals, plastic, glass, etc. The surface cleaner consists of isopropanol. Please check compatibility with the materials used before use. Clean all surfaces carefully before each application and only use clean, lint-free cloths. The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again.
