Use the 3M DT series filters as effective protection against various particles, gases and vapours or a combination of hazardous substances. They are suitable for use with selected 3M tight-fitting half and full-face respirators with negative pressure as well as with the 3M PF-600E+ blower respiratory protection system.

The 3M DT Series filters are available in a range of specific designs to protect against particles, gases and vapours or a combination of both. They are suitable for use with 3M reusable respirators and respirator blowers with DIN 40 filter connections.

The red Scotch insulating tape is the ideal insulating tape for power cables and other wires. It consists of a particularly flexible PVC film with a high degree of elasticity, which also adapts perfectly to uneven surfaces. It is easy to unwind and adheres without great contact pressure. In addition to electrical insulation, it can be used to secure loose cables, protect stressed cable sheaths or for colour coding. The insulating tape adheres reliably at temperatures from 0°C to 90°C. It is flame retardant and offers protection against electrical voltages of up to 6,000 volts. The Scotch insulating tape is VDE tested and certified in accordance with IEC standard 454-3-1. The packaging contains a roll of red insulating tape measuring 15 mm x 10 m.

The 3M MDT-A heat-shrinkable tubing is a halogen-free, medium-walled heat-shrinkable tubing made of radiation cross-linked polyolefin with a hot-melt adhesive coating. The hot-melt adhesive penetrates into all uneven areas and cavities and prevents the ingress of moisture. The 3M MDT-A heat-shrinkable tubing is suitable for insulating plastic and earth cables up to 0.6/1kV, both for installation in the open air and in the ground. The ageing-resistant heat-shrinkable tubing is UV-resistant and resistant to many chemical influences. It can be used in a temperature range from -55 °C to +130 °C. Thanks to its high shrink rate of 4.5 to one, you can cover large diameter jumps with just one tube. The 3M MDT-A heat shrink tubing fulfils the technical requirements of IEC 60684 and is approved according to Lloyds Register of Shipping, certificate 95/30032(E5).
