It is UL, CSA and VDE certified, approved according to standard IEC 60454-3-1. 3M Temflex 165 vinyl insulating tape is based on polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and/or its copolymers and has a rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive. The tape is 0.15 mm thick, UL listed and labelled as "flame retardant and cold resistant" according to UL standard 510. The tape can be applied at temperatures from 0 °C to 38 °C without affecting its physical properties. It is classified for indoor and outdoor use and is compatible with synthetic cable insulation, sheathing and bonding materials.
