3M Cubitron II Sanding belt 984F, 50 mm x 1500 mm, 36+

The 3M Cubitron II abrasive belt 984F offers revolutionary performance with the 3M precision moulded ceramic grain on a YF load polyester backing. The individual ceramic grains are precisely moulded, uniformly sized, vertically arranged and shaped like small triangles. They are applied evenly, but randomly distributed, so that the typical grinding pattern of an abrasive belt is reproduced. The triangular discs form a very sharp sanding surface with unprecedented removal rates and service life. The significantly higher efficiency in the machining process ensures cost savings and more pleasant, ergonomic working. This high-performance abrasive belt also has a stock removal aid, making it ideal for medium to high pressure applications on stainless steel and other special alloys as well as mild steel, cobalt-chrome and nickel alloys. The precision-moulded abrasive grain cuts evenly through the metal, has a permanently sharp effect and achieves a clean, burr-free and even surface. The uniform structure impresses with the fastest sanding (up to 40 % faster sanding processes) and maximum stock removal, especially when chamfering and stock removal sanding. This 3M Cubitron II abrasive belt achieves two to four times the service life of other products. The even processing of the workpiece in combination with the integrated grinding aid ensures cool grinding and prevents stress cracks and discolouration.
