Es ist bei Raumtemperatur leicht klebrig und härtet bei mäßiger Bindungstemperatur und -druck aus. Der nicht gebundene Film ist bei Raumtemperatur leicht klebrig und besteht aus einer duroplastischen Epoxy / Acrylat- Klebstoffmasse die mit zufällig verteilten leitenden Partikeln versetzt ist. Die Partikel ermöglichen die Verbindung von Leiterbahnen durch den Klebstoff hindurch, sind jedoch so weit voneinander entfernt, dass das Produkt in der Ebene des Klebstoffs elektrisch isolierend ist. Diese leitenden Partikel werden für Kupferbahnen bevorzugt da sie für eine gute elektrische Verbindung sorgen. 3M ACF 7303 kann zum Verbinden einer flexiblen Leiterplatte mit einer anderen flexiblen Leiterplatte oder einer Leiterplatte verwendet werden.
