3M UHMW (ultra-high-molecular-weight) polyethylene sliding tapes have a highly slippery surface due to their low coefficient of friction. They also have excellent abrasion resistance. These tapes are also self-lubricating, resistant to moisture and many chemical agents. They are repellent to most dry or pasty substances and have good puncture and impact resistance.
