3M 51002 is intended for use in automotive repair. This medium-weight polyester filler is able to repair defects such as dents in steel, galvanised steel and aluminium. It can also be used to cover professionally repaired cracks in SMC and fibreglass. 51002 Universal Filler has been developed for use with the 3M DMS Applicator (PN50600) and the 3M Dynamic Mixing Nozzle (PN 50601).

It can be used on various smooth materials, such as metals, plastic, glass, etc. The surface cleaner consists of isopropanol. Please check compatibility with the materials used before use. The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again.
