It can be used on various smooth materials, such as metals, plastic, glass, etc. The surface cleaner consists of isopropanol. Please check compatibility with the materials used before use. Clean all surfaces carefully before each application and only use clean, lint-free cloths. The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again. Sandblasting adhesive tape 991 is used to create moulds for partial processing of various materials. It consists of a 3-ply fabric adhesive tape laminate and a rubber adhesive that adheres particularly well to polished surfaces and wood. The 0.85 millimetre thick material protects the bonded substrate from mechanical impact and damage, while the adjacent free surfaces can be processed.
