For products that are backlit or require translucency, the right adhesive is essential. These ultra-transparent, ultra-thin, double-sided adhesive tapes are manufactured using a coating machine in a clean room, so your finished products are free from dust and splinters. They also offer excellent initial adhesion, good tack and dimensional stability. Clean and clear bonding for light transmission 3M Double Sided Tape with Polyester Carrier UCT-10 is a double-sided acrylic tape designed for 90% light transmission and only 1.1% haze, making it ideal for bonding screens, lenses and backlit graphics. In addition to the exceptionally clear polyester (PET) backing and adhesive, this tape is manufactured in a clean room and protected with a liner on each side to keep your end products free from dust and dirt. The PET backing and liners also ensure dimensional stability during die-cutting. Without the liner, this tape is (0.010 mm) thick. The silicone-free acrylic adhesive leaves no silicone residue.
