The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again. The 3M Scotchlok heat-shrink compression connectors can be used in installation technology wherever you want to connect solid conductors using compression technology. After heat-shrinking, the connectors also provide insulation that protects against moisture. They are therefore particularly suitable for applications in non-air-conditioned rooms or outdoors.
