3M Dual Lock is a self-adhesive, flexible pressure seal in roll form. The patented system consists of black polyolefin strips with hemispherical heads on a short stem. Pressing them together creates a firm but removable connection. Unlike conventional fastening systems such as screws or rivets, no holes are required which would detract from the visual appearance of the surface. The acrylic adhesive with high temperature resistance is suitable for various substrates, e.g. high- and low-energy plastics, metals and powder coatings.

The surface cleaner is used to degrease, clean and prepare parts to be joined before bonding. It can be used on various smooth materials, such as metals, plastic, glass, etc. The surface cleaner consists of isopropanol. Please check compatibility with the materials used before use. Clean all surfaces carefully before each application and only use clean, lint-free cloths. The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again.
