The 3M EMC copper shielding tape 1182 is a copper foil that is coated on both sides with conductive acrylic adhesive for the physical and electrical bonding of surfaces. Its excellent corrosion resistance and very good punchability significantly extend its range of applications. With an electrical resistance of ten milliohms, the 0.089 millimetre thick copper foil has good conductivity and can be used not only for EMC applications but also for earthing and discharging electrostatic charges. The adhesive tape is flame-retardant in accordance with UL 510 and its adhesive is resistant to solvents, which ensures long-lasting functionality.
