The 3M Embossed EMC Copper Shielding Tape 1345 is a tin-coated copper foil with a non-conductive acrylic adhesive. The tin ensures particularly good solderability and is compatible with a wide range of base materials such as galvanised steels, aluminium, lead and tin alloys. Its excellent corrosion resistance and very good stampability significantly extend the range of applications for the shielding tape. With an electrical resistance of one milliohm, the 0.102 millimetre thick copper foil has outstanding conductivity and can also be used for earthing and discharging electrostatic charges in addition to EMC applications. The adhesive tape is flame-retardant in accordance with UL 510 and its non-conductive acrylate adhesive is resistant to solvents, which ensures long-lasting functionality.
