The Scotch glass fibre fabric tape 69 can withstand a breakdown voltage of 3,000 volts. It is coated with a flame-retardant silicone adhesive and belongs to insulating material class H with a temperature resistance of up to 180 °C. This makes it ideal for insulating electrical components that emit a lot of heat and as a protective winding against heat radiation. Like all glass fibre tapes, it is particularly tear and abrasion resistant. This ensures long-lasting functionality even under high mechanical stress, such as in electric motors. Due to its elasticity, the insulating tape adapts perfectly to different substrates. At the same time, the printable fabric structure ensures excellent absorption of resins and paints.
