The special design of the head mount allows it to be combined with other 3M safety products such as protective visors, passive earmuffs or hearing protection headsets and integrated eye protection.

The G500 can be extended with 3M V6 integrated safety goggles for additional eye protection. The goggles are available with clear, grey and amber lenses.
The headgear can be used with or without earmuffs
The headband is equipped with slots for attaching the earmuffs
