For demanding processing conditions The 3M polyester adhesive tape 8901 is a thin, pliable polyester adhesive tape that is ideal for masking tasks in high-temperature applications and adheres well to silicone-coated surfaces. The translucent blue backing film is tear-resistant. Coated with a silicone adhesive, the tape produces sharp coloured edges and is therefore very suitable for masking workpieces during powder coating, for example. It can be removed from most surfaces cleanly and in one go without fraying or tearing. Get a fast and even cut for numerous applications with the 3M Silver cutting disc. It cuts quickly through metal tubes, sleeves, flat sheets and other workpieces. The disc contains our precision grain, which has continuously sharp cutting edges, so it cuts through the material rather than scraping or ploughing through it like conventional abrasive grains. This results in a significantly longer service life than conventional abrasives with ceramic grit and a consistently stable high cutting rate over the service life.
