3M 851 high temperature adhesive tape, made of polyester and mixed silicone-rubber adhesive, is used for masking printed circuit boards and other high temperature applications. Adhesive thickness 0.1 mm. Colour: Green.

Properties

Thanks to the polyester carrier material, expansion at high temperatures is lower, which ensures a straight cover line.
The thick adhesive coating reduces the risk of "undercutting" as the adhesive displaces the "stripping solution" between the electrical connections.
Specially developed adhesive that generally performs excellently in all PCB soldering processes, but is less suitable for use in reflow soldering.
