Protect the inside of car body parts with 3M cavity sealing wax (amber). Our cavity sealing wax creeps under the moisture and is resistant to road salt and permanently flexible. The product is available as an aerosol or with an applicator gun. The 3M Cavity Sealer Wax has a low consistency and is suitable for cavities, inner side panels and sills where the capillary effect is required. 3M Cavity Sealer Wax (Transparent) has a high consistency and is generally used in the engine compartment or to protect exposed bare metal parts, i.e. in areas where the capillary effect is not required.

The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again.
