The 3M metal adhesive tape 425 made of robust soft aluminium and resistant acrylate adhesive is ideal for long-term use under high loads. It can even cope with the high demands of automotive and aircraft construction. Its resistance to solvents and chemicals, moisture, heat and UV rays ensures long-lasting functionality. This guarantees a high level of process reliability and results in direct cost savings. In particular, its high temperature resistance of 55 °C to +155 °C makes the aluminium adhesive tape universally applicable. It can be used for mounting both cooling and heating elements. It is also ideal for sealing purposes due to its low permeability to water vapour or moisture.
