3M PX5008 is a medium grey, double-sided acrylic foam tape with very good initial and excellent final tack for low and medium energy surfaces. The ZX adhesive - which is anchored on both sides of the tape - can be used without adhesion promoters or surface pre-treatments on difficult-to-bond plastics such as PP/EPDM and on medium-energy plastics such as ABS and automotive paints. The robust foam core guarantees very good wetting and adaptation to the surface geometry of add-on parts such as trim strips and parking sensors. In addition, the PX 5008 adhesive tape is characterised by very good internal strength and excellent long-term stability in hot and cold conditions.

The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again.
