The 3M Plastic Adhesion Promoter creates ideal conditions for the application of 3M Glass Mesh Fabric and Plastic Repair Material. Applied to the cleaned surface to be bonded, it maximises the adhesive strength of the two-component epoxy resin. It therefore makes a significant contribution to the quality of the repair, making it a cheap and quick alternative to replacing the damaged material.

The surface cleaner is used to degrease, clean and prepare parts to be joined before bonding. It can be used on various smooth materials, such as metals, plastic, glass, etc. The surface cleaner consists of isopropanol. Please check compatibility with the materials used before use. Clean all surfaces carefully before each application and only use clean, lint-free cloths. The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again.
