The 3M Dual Lock Reclosable Fastener 3M SJ3551CF is the practical alternative to traditional fastening methods such as screws, nuts or bolts. It is designed to provide a permanent, reclosable fastening solution that adheres to a variety of substrates including metals, glass and plastics such as acrylic, polycarbonate and ABS. This fastener gives the adhesive a black appearance. The durable and secure 3M Dual Lock Reclosable Fastener SJ3551CF has exceptional strength due to its interlocking mushroom-shaped heads that provide up to 5 times the tensile strength of typical hook and loop products. We designed this fastener with a clear acrylic tape that is protected by a removable film. This solid, pressure sensitive tape provides a strong, durable bond that is heat, chemical and UV resistant. No drilling, screwing or sewing tools are required for the 3M Dual Lock Reclosure SJ3551CF, allowing for quick installation.

3M Lub-I cable lubricant, 3.78 litres

The 3M cable lubricant Lub-P is especially suitable for use in the energy supply and industrial sectors. Due to its special consistency, it forms a secure lubricating film on the cable sheath, even on heavy cables. It can be applied either by hand or by injection or pumping. Lub-P facilitates the pulling through and laying of cables and wires by reducing friction. Signs of wear are significantly reduced - both on the cables and on the equipment used. This effectively prevents cable sheath damage and also prevents cables from becoming tangled or getting stuck. It is therefore particularly recommended for long and winding cable runs. The transparent, water-based cable lubricant can be wiped off easily and cleanly if necessary. Neither silicone nor grease residues make it difficult to work on the cables. In addition, it does not cause irreversible stains on clothing, equipment or surroundings. Lub-P dries out very slowly and is therefore very economical. It leaves only a minimal residue as it contains less than 5.5 per cent solid components. This means that the cables do not stick together or to other cables, which facilitates their movement. It is suitable for high-performance cables and regular 600 V cables, as well as for most cable materials, including polyethylene and semi-cons. It is also compatible with semi-conductive materials. This means that, unlike wax or hydrocarbon based lubricants, it does not affect the volume resistance of medium and high voltage cable sheaths or the insulation layer. Lub-P is extremely temperature-stable and non-flammable. It therefore maintains the flame-retardant and self-extinguishing properties of the cable.

3M Scotchcast 470-B, polyurethane cable resin, 2-component GMG system, size B, 200 ml

Scotchcast casting resin no. 470 is a standard two-component polyurethane cable resin. It cures at room temperature and generates only a low exothermic reaction temperature. Due to its excellent hydrolytic stability, the premium resin is also suitable for long-term applications under water. It adheres well to both metal and various plastics and is ideal for insulation and sealing as well as for mechanical protection in the low-voltage range. The practical two-chamber bag contains coordinated quantities of resin and hardener, which can be combined into a homogeneous mass by simply tearing open the separating seam and then kneading. The transparency of the bag allows visual inspection during mixing. The GMG system (closed mixing and moulding) virtually eliminates contact with casting resin during processing. After casting, the mixing bag with the cured casting resin residue can simply be disposed of with normal household waste. Disposal as hazardous waste is not necessary.

This affordable solution offers reliable performance for protective sheathing, cabling, marking and insulation of low voltage cables in non-critical applications. 3M Temflex 165 vinyl insulating tape is a high quality 0.15 mm thick, general purpose insulating tape. It is highly resistant to moisture and changing weather conditions. It is a flame-retardant polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and adaptable in application. 3M Temflex 165 tape offers excellent mechanical protection with minimal bulk. It is UL, CSA and VDE certified, approved according to standard IEC 60454-3-1. 3M Temflex 165 vinyl insulating tape is based on polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and/or its copolymers and has a rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive. The tape is 0.15 mm thick, UL listed and labelled as "flame retardant and cold resistant" according to UL standard 510. The tape can be applied at temperatures from 0 °C to 38 °C without affecting its physical properties. It is classified for indoor and outdoor use and is compatible with synthetic cable insulation, sheathing and bonding materials.
