By combining two outstanding 3M technologies - fleece and the 3M precision-moulded ceramic grain - you can now achieve an ideal finish even faster. To help you work even more efficiently, these discs are available in brighter, more vibrant colours to make them easier to distinguish. In addition, the range of grits has been extended to include fine and extra coarse versions, giving you an even wider choice of solutions for your abrasive needs.
Improve your work processes. These high quality general purpose abrasive discs are designed to optimise the steps involved in surface finishing, including cleaning, blending, deburring and finishing. Typical substrates include aluminium and soft metals, carbon steel and stainless steel. Applications range from the removal of coatings and corrosion to the finishing and post-processing of castings.
- The newly formulated multi-purpose discs feature the 3M precision-moulded grain incorporated into the fleece, which means that the Scotch-Brite product range is characterised by even better productivity and longer service life.
- The 3M precision-moulded grit is a triangular-shaped ceramic abrasive grit with sharp, angular structures that continuously break off during the sanding process, constantly forming new, sharp cutting edges.
- Available in the grit sizes VFN, FIN, MED, CRS and XCRS for work with low contact pressure on typical substrates such as aluminium, soft metals, carbon steel and stainless steel.
