3M Scotch-Weld SI Gel is a highly viscous and surface-insensitive cyanoacrylate adhesive with thixotropic behaviour. The gel for high-strength universal bonding has very good gap-filling properties and is used on acidic and porous surfaces, in overhead applications and on vertical surfaces. In addition to bonding many materials quickly, the gel also bonds difficult-to-bond material pairings - and is characterised by its regular appearance. Scotch-Weld SI Gel is suitable, for example, for bonding wooden radiator panelling and for joining brass components.

The surface cleaner is used to degrease, clean and prepare parts to be joined before bonding. It can be used on various smooth materials, such as metals, plastic, glass, etc. The surface cleaner consists of isopropanol. Please check compatibility with the materials used before use. Clean all surfaces carefully before each application and only use clean, lint-free cloths. The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again.
