3M Scotch-Weld 1099 is a nitrile rubber-based plastic adhesive that achieves maximum strength after heat activation. The product is resistant to oil, fuel and plasticisers. Scotch-Weld 1099 is suitable for bonding decorative films to fibre-reinforced plastics, polyamide, ABS and foams to various rubber qualities, rigid fabrics and papers, metals, wood, leather, felt and fabrics as well as rigid and soft PVC.

PKW PA (Polyamid) im Bereich Cockpit

Der Klebstofftoff wollte PA in einem PKW Cockpit kleben, leider härtet er nicht fest genug aus und bleibt flexibel. Also für diese Anwendung nicht geeignet.

Klebung von PA auf Stahlwelle

I'ch wollte den Klebstoff mit einer spritze applizieren aber dafür ist er zu dickflüssig. Anwendung war Ritzel auf Stahlwelle eines Poolroboters zu re-fixieren. Klebstoff haftete gut und zog langsam durch den Fügespalt. Nach der Aushärtung mach die Klebung einen perfekten Eindruck, mal sehen wie Chlor, Salzwasser und sonstige Belastung sich auf die Lebensdauer der Klebung auswirken.

3M Scotch-Weld DP8407NS (non-sag) is a solvent-free and non-flowing two-component acrylate-based construction adhesive with a short working time of 5 to 7 minutes.
