Sealing without problems: With the self-sealing Scotch repair tape, you can carry out temporary plumbing and electrical installations quickly and reliably. Whether it's a leaking inlet hose on the washing machine or a leaking pipe on the washbasin - the self-sealing repair tape enables the leaking area to be completely airtight and watertight. During application, the tape must be wrapped tightly and overlapping around the pipe - in this way it welds itself firmly together. It can easily be stretched up to 650% without tearing. It should be applied at room temperature. Thanks to its high water and weather resistance, it is also suitable for outdoor use. It holds reliably at temperatures from -40° to 90°C and can also be used on wet surfaces. Beware of contact with lubricants or petrol - the tape could lose its sealing power. The packaging contains a roll of black, self-sealing repair tape measuring 25 mm x 3 m.

Properties

Sealing without problems: The Scotch self-amalgamating repair tape is a resistant repair tape especially for short-term plumbing and electrical installations.
Airtight and watertight repairs: It seals pipes, hoses and cables airtight and watertight and can also be applied to damp surfaces.
Highly elastic: The adhesive tape can be stretched by up to 650%. This enables a firm pull when wrapping - important for optimum self-welding.
For indoors and outdoors: Thanks to the strong backing material, it is highly resistant to water and weather. It reliably withstands temperatures from -40° to 90°C.
Examples of use: Quick and temporary repairs to pipes, water pipes or for sealing washing machine inlets.

Advantages

Application: Remove the protective cover, position the sealing tape on the leaking area, wrap the adhesive tape tightly and overlapping around the pipe and cut off.
Note: The adhesive tape is only self-sealing at room temperature. It must not come into contact with lubricants or petrol.
