3M Scotchcast 1402FR polyurethane resin in a bag is suitable for electrical insulation and mechanical protection of electrical connections for applications up to 1 kV. It fulfils the requirements of CENELEC HD631.1 S2 and is compliant with EU Directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS) and EU Directive 1907/2007/EC (REACH) and ensures the highest level of electrical insulation for professional applications. Quick and clean application is possible thanks to the new, patented 3M filler neck integrated into the resin bag. Bag opener is included in the scope of delivery.

It can be used on various smooth materials, such as metals, plastic, glass, etc. The surface cleaner consists of isopropanol. Please check compatibility with the materials used before use. Clean all surfaces carefully before each application and only use clean, lint-free cloths. The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again.
