With the 3M SecureFit Safety helmet X5512V-CE provides you with safe and comfortable head protection. The safety helmet was designed for general industrial use and everyday safety requirements. Inspired by modern climbing helmets, it offers protection against small falling objects. Optional ventilation openings allow air to flow through the helmet. The helmet height on the head is adjustable. With the easily adjustable 4-point ratchet fastening system, the head strap can be conveniently adjusted to suit requirements. Integrated into the helmet is the exclusive, patented 3M Pressure distribution technology is integrated into the helmet. It not only ensures a secure fit, but also improves wearing comfort. This technology reduces the force on the head by up to 20% compared to conventional 3M helmet straps. The rimless design allows an unobstructed view upwards. This makes it easier to see and avoid potential hazards in the surrounding area. This black safety helmet is equipped with a patented 3M UVicator Sensor, which changes colour from red to white when exposed to harmful UV radiation. Exposure to UV radiation can cause the helmet shell to become brittle, limiting effective protection. The colour change of the sensor indicates when the helmet should be replaced. Optional 3M Scotchlite Reflective material increases visibility in poor light conditions. The existing notches and holders for accessories are compatible with a wide range of 3M protective visors, earmuffs and other accessories. A chin strap with magnetic or plastic fastener can also be added as an option. Tested for lateral deformation and fulfils the EN 397 standard for industrial safety helmets.

This product family is compatible with ribbon cables or round/flat cables with conductor spacing of 1.27 mm. The proven insulation displacement contacts are designed for solid and stranded conductors for increased design freedom in circuit and system development. Stranded conductors with conductor cross-sections of AWG 26 (0.141mm²) and AWG 28 (0.089mm²) or solid conductors with AWG 26 (0.128mm²) or AWG 28 (0.08mm²) can be processed. The contacts in the mating area have a gold coating for optimum electrical performance. The adhesive strips in the cover of the connectors are a valuable aid for manual processing.
