The 3M Scotchfoam single-sided foam tapes are made of a closed-cell vinyl foam with a heavy-duty acrylic adhesive. They are ideal for sealing against dust and moisture, e.g. in household appliances, computers and other electronic devices. Due to their excellent acoustic properties, Scotchfoam foam tapes are also suitable for damping and soft mounting of sensitive appliance parts. They can be used on a variety of substrates such as metals, plastic, glass or painted wood.
