3M Soft Edge Foam Masking Tape PLUS, blue, 21 mm x 49 m, 50421
Thanks to its new design, 3M Soft Tape Plus enables better and cleaner masking of all bodywork gaps. It can be moulded as required. This means it expands for deep gaps and compresses strongly for small gaps. The narrower adhesive coating also allows masking at a 90-degree angle to the paint surface without the adhesive touching the paint and thus impairing the quality of the paint edge. In contrast to the simple Soft Tape, the 3M Soft Tape Plus is also suitable for more modern designs with deeper gaps. The adhesive tape made of fine-pored polyester foam is coated on one side with a pressure-sensitive adhesive and can be applied to practically all openings such as doors, boot or bonnet. The elliptical bead shape then ensures a perfect seal, resulting in flawless paint edges. The soft tape can also be used to create softer colour transitions in multi-coloured paintwork. After use, it can be removed again without leaving any residue and therefore delivers an excellent result.
