3M Soft Pads are flexible foam pads that can be used to work on hard-to-reach areas such as headlight openings, areas around door handles and door jambs. Our sponge can be used wet or dry and helps to remove scratches. Use the 3M™ Soft Pads sanding sponge to remove imperfections in hard-to-reach areas. With our sponge, you can work on hard-to-reach areas such as headlight openings, areas around door handles and door openings. This sponge is ideal for preparing old paint coats for a new paint job. Ideal areas of application are wet or dry sanding of wood, paint, metal, plastic or plaster layers. If the sponge is used when wet, this reduces the number of dust particles in the air.

The  surface cleaner is used to degrease, clean and prepare parts to be joined before bonding. It can be used on various smooth materials, such as metals, plastic, glass, etc. The surface cleaner consists of isopropanol. Please check compatibility with the materials used before use. Clean all surfaces carefully before each application and only use clean, lint-free cloths. The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again.
