The Speedglas 9100 & G5-01 outer standard lens protects the filter from sparks and splashes. If the filter is used without the outer cover lens, there is no guarantee if sparks or splashes damage the glass.

The particle filter is inserted into the 3M Adflo blower to filter particles from the working environment and thus provide you with clean air to breathe.
