The surface cleaner is used to degrease, clean and prepare parts to be joined before bonding. It can be used on various smooth materials, such as metals, plastic, glass, etc. The surface cleaner consists of isopropanol. Please check compatibility with the materials used before use. Clean all surfaces carefully before each application and only use clean, lint-free cloths. The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again. The 3M MDT-A heat-shrinkable tubing is a halogen-free, medium-walled heat-shrinkable tubing made of radiation cross-linked polyolefin with a hot-melt adhesive coating. The hot-melt adhesive penetrates into all uneven areas and cavities and prevents the ingress of moisture. The 3M MDT-A heat-shrinkable tubing is suitable for insulating plastic and earth cables up to 0.6/1kV, both for installation in the open air and in the ground. The ageing-resistant heat-shrinkable tubing is UV-resistant and resistant to many chemical influences. It can be used in a temperature range from -55 °C to +130 °C. Thanks to its high shrink rate of 4.5 to one, you can cover large diameter jumps with just one tube.
