The 3M stone chip protection with texture is an effective protection against stone chips and weather-related corrosion damage to wheel arches, front and rear skirts, side skirts and mudguards. As it can be painted over after only a short drying time, it can also be used as underbody and bodywork protection. Another major advantage is its sound-absorbing effect. This stone chip protection is a viscous, asphaltic material with a high solids content, which results in a pronounced structure. You can achieve very good coverage with just one coat, saving material and time that you would need for several applications. It is easy to apply with a spray gun and can also be used to restore the structure of new or repaired body parts. It is available in black, white or grey.

It can be used on various smooth materials, such as metals, plastic, glass, etc. The surface cleaner consists of isopropanol. Please check compatibility with the materials used before use. Clean all surfaces carefully before each application and only use clean, lint-free cloths. The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again.
