The 3M adhesive films 9471 LE and 9472 LE are double-sided, highly transparent, clear adhesive tapes made of modified acrylate adhesive. They are characterised by their high initial tack and very high shear strength. The specially formulated adhesive enables good adhesion to low-energy materials such as PE, PP and powder coatings. Even with low contact pressure, a high initial tack is achieved on most surfaces. As the adhesive film has no fibre reinforcement, the clear, transparent adhesive tape is ideal for inconspicuous bonding of transparent materials.
