The F 9473 PC transfer adhesive tape from the 3M 600 adhesive series is the high-performance bonding system from the VHB series. It is a film made of pure acrylate adhesive, which has excellent adhesive strength even on very rough and structured surfaces. It is particularly suitable for use in the automotive and aviation industries. It is characterised by excellent resistance to physical, chemical and mechanical influences. Its high shear strength as well as its very good resistance to ageing make the adhesive tape an ideal solution for long-term applications. It can withstand temperatures of up to +260 °C for short periods and its functionality is hardly impaired even after exposure to chemicals or solvents. The adhesive film therefore guarantees high process reliability even under extreme loads.

It can be used on various smooth materials, such as metals, plastic, glass, etc. The surface cleaner consists of isopropanol. Please check compatibility with the materials used before use. Clean all surfaces carefully before each application and only use clean, lint-free cloths. The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again.
