The 3M polyethylene adhesive tape 480 is characterised above all by its resistance to ageing. Both its special acrylic adhesive and the polyethylene carrier remain transparent even after long-term use. The single-sided adhesive tape is also resistant to moisture, chemicals, solvents and UV rays. Even at low temperatures, its water vapour permeability is low. It is therefore suitable for outdoor applications of unlimited duration. The stretchable and flexible backing, together with the strong adhesive, ensures excellent adhesion with good abrasion resistance, even on uneven surfaces.

The best bonding results are achieved if you pre-clean the parts to be bonded, then roughen them (e.g. with Scotch-Brite 7447) and clean them again.
