The high level of safety of the Optime III is based on the innovative double-shell technology, which minimises resonance inside the capsule and provides maximum attenuation of high frequencies. The advantage: conversations and warning signals are still easy to understand. An acoustic connection between the inside of the capsule and the space between the shells also achieves optimum attenuation of low frequencies. The soft, wide foam sealing rings ensure a perfect fit. The generous space under the capsules minimises heat build-up and perspiration and offers a comfortable fit. The two-point suspension made of stainless steel ensures consistently low contact pressure even when used continuously. The new STAINLESS-CLEAN Unitised disc was developed for cleaning stainless steel weld seams, light grinding or removing spot welds and mini seams in a single operation. This red hard fleece, pressed into individual layers, leaves no discolouration or black spots on the workpiece. It cleans and smoothes VA or steel weld seam surfaces at lightning speed, harmonises and smoothes weld seams and gives them a perfect shine at the same height level - even in corners. STAINLESS-CLEAN Unitised discs produce a slight sparking effect due to the ceramic grain used and the hard non-woven structure and have an exceptionally long service life (several times longer than normal cleaning discs). This new type of STAINLESS-CLEAN unitised disc does not smear and is bonded almost completely to a natural fibre backing plate, which increases the service life of the material enormously.
