The insulating tape is coated with a rubber adhesive that has excellent adhesive strength and elasticity even at sub-zero temperatures. The 0.18 millimetre thick adhesive tape is self-extinguishing and resistant to temperatures of up to 90 °C in the long term. It can withstand a breakdown voltage of 8,750 volts and is resistant to moisture, UV radiation, oil, acids, alkalis and copper corrosion.
